Raised as a native of Northeastern PA, Michele graduated from Bloomsburg University with a Bachelor of Science in Education with an emphasis in Biology and Chemistry. An early career change from teaching to manufacturing changed Michele’s life. Starting out in manufacturing ammunition for the government and then on to nearly 20 years in plastics compounding, Michele used hard work and her chemistry background to work her way up the ladder into running a successful compounding plant. She learned the value of quality, building customer relationships and running an efficient plant that would take her to her next career.

A 2nd career change came when Michele joined Jamplast’ s new plastics distribution business as a sales account manager. Her plastics background in plant management and developing new compounds has been a significant plus to the technical side of Jamplast’ s sales. Michele has focused on engineering resins and building Jamplast’ s Biopolymer business throughout her 20 years of service with Jamplast.

She works with the new sales staff in building their technical expertise in the plastics industry.

In her spare time, Michele enjoys playing golf, rooting for Notre Dame football and spending time with her family and friends. She is active in her church and community and works with neighborhood kids on local projects.
