Joe has lived most of his life in Missouri except for some time in Philadelphia when he was first married. He attended Kansas State University originally to become an architect but quickly learned he did not have the attention nor the focus for that line of work. He ended up getting a BS from Missouri University and went on to graduate studies out East at Wilmington University.
Consumer products and pharmaceutical product sales and management were the focus of Joe’s career for 20 years with world-class training from Glaxo, Johnson & Johnson, and Solvay. His medical expertise and marketing experience lead to a unique entrepreneurial venture with his own animal health nutraceutical company. After selling that company and working as a consultant for several years, he joined the Jamplast team. Joe’s role at Jamplast is to solidify our presence in the marketplace as a strategic partner for plastic resins as a stocking distributor for biopolymers, engineered polymers, and commodity grade thermoplastics. Along with ensuring the longstanding Jamplast core values of integrity, quality, and partnering with companies to succeed, Joe is also charged with growing our professional sales team and increasing our company revenue over the next 3 years.
On the personal side, Joe works to keep his high school sweetheart/ wife of 31 years happy which includes a range of continual projects. He has 3 grown children, 2 that will soon to be married and one getting a master’s degree in education. Outside of his role at Jamplast, Joe is still busy in the St. Louis entrepreneurial community mentoring startups and helping others make connections to launch their business ideas.
